BIO

Radio Flyer delivers good times & great music for events, parties, festivals, restaurants, and music venues. Featuring rock & blues from primarily the 60’s-70’s, this band will keep audiences of all ages dancing, singing along, & reminiscing!

Rhonda Huete and Frank Stabler front the band with guitars and vocals.  Rhythm guitarist Rhonda has fronted several local rock bands, writes the songs for her original project - Gravity Blinks, and performs a variety of pop and rock hits solo as well. Lead guitarist Frank has been a blues man for decades, sings with his church choir, and has also played with local bands over the years. With decades of experience in bands and vocal groups, Rhonda and Frank also entertain as a versatile duo weaving rich harmonies into classic pop, rock, ballads, and blues.

Larry Lindsey plays bass and adds his vocals into the  Radio Flyer mix. Larry grew up in Memphis where he played bass in local bands as a teenager in the 60’s and he has continued to play both bass and guitar. Larry also leads a volunteer music ministry, the Beatnix. To Larry, music is a blessing from God to be shared and appreciated across generations.

Butch Johnson mans the drum kit. A multi-instrumentalist, sound engineer, award winning songwriter, and producer, Butch brings a depth of musical experience to the kit that results in an intuitive feel and solid foundation for every song. Butch has the right kit to dial in the sound for any stage, including electric kits for intimate settings, a suitcase mini kit for small rooms, and scaling up to a full, mic’d acoustic setup for bigger events.

This band brings great music, upbeat energy, and a nostalgic vibe to every show, making each event unique and memorable for all involved.  They are available to play on the gulf coast from Biloxi to Navarre.
