KOONTZ is a Yallternative Trop Rock band. They take old and new songs from rock, pop, and country and put a blues-driven tropical Americana freshness to them. 

Pensacola Beach’s Kevin Koontz is a strong blues rock vocalist with tendencies to rap. He plays a Gibson guitar with some hot pickups that thicken up the trio’s sound. 

Koontz’s life-long best friend and nemesis is drummer Kevin Crane. Another Pensacola native, Crane blends his pop-punk and roots-reggae foundations into a tight pulse. 

Big Bassist Andrew Tolle is a local of Gulf Shores who takes his technical metal influences and provides pounding precision that pull everything together. 

These guys play a variety of bangers from Twenty Pilots to Van Morrison. They’re constantly leaving sober bartenders saying, “y’all are the best we’ve had yet and I love your song choices!”.
